Dean and Mike began their love for waterfowl hunting at a young age. Both cut their teeth hunting local marshes. In 1993 Dean and Mike began hunting the open waters of Lake Michigan starting out with 3 dozen blue bill decoys and 14ft semi v, hunting local piers. This is where their passion for the open water hunting of Lake Michigan and the Bay of Green Bay first began.  As years went on their equipment improved, their boats got bigger and their passion to chase waterfowl increased. With both being Charter Boat Captains who chased Trout and Salmon in the summer months, Dean and Mike made the leap in 2008 to create Big Water Outdoors as a platform to share their passion and love of the Great Lakes with anyone who would like to experience what they have to offer.
